ST. GEORGE TEMPLE VISITORS’ CENTER

The Visitors’ Center is open to the public and offers a peaceful place to learn about Jesus Christ, the temple, and the faith of the early Saints in southern Utah. Admission is always free.

Missionaries host the buildings on the temple grounds and help visitors explore the story of the early Saints, faith in Jesus Christ, and the importance of families in Heavenly Father’s plan. If you visit both missionary-hosted buildings, plan to spend between 30 minutes and 1½ hours.

St. George FamilySearch Center

The FamilySearch Center helps individuals and families discover their ancestors through records, family trees, scanning tools, and one-on-one assistance. It is a welcoming place to explore family history and preserve meaningful memories.

If you want help with research, digitizing photos or tapes, or learning more about your family story, the center offers resources and support to help you get started.

St. George UT Distribution Center

There is no distribution center on the temple grounds or nearby temple site. The official temple page instead points visitors to Deseret Book in St. George for temple clothing and related materials.

If you need temple clothing or Church materials, it is best to call ahead and confirm current hours before visiting.

St. George UT Temple

The St. George Utah Temple is a sacred house of the Lord for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a place of worship, covenant devotion, and peace.

Reservations are available, and walk-ins are welcome. For additional help, accessibility needs, or special circumstances, guests are encouraged to contact the temple directly.
